T-Minus 5 Weeks and Counting…

Drove back to GA this past weekend to take my friend Mindy’s maternity pictures. Apparently the weather knew I was coming because we were only able to do the indoor pictures. See you guys once Miss Jada finally makes her debut into this great big world!

It snowed in Mississippi!?!

I grew up in MD, where it snows from November through April. Don’t get me wrong, I love the snow, but after about the 3rd snow storm I start craving warmer weather! The one nice thing about living in the south is that IT NEVER SNOWS. Winter normally lasts a weekend, and snow boots and winter coats are a thing of the past. That wasn’t the case this past weekend. We woke up Saturday morning to it snowing! I fought the urge to run to the grocery store to stock my pantry with water, bread and toilet paper, and took Cole outside to break in his winter coat and hat! I think the total accumulation was like 1/160 of an inch, but nonetheless, it snowed in Mississippi and I couldn’t have been happier!

I wish…

If only I could crawl inside his head for a brief moment in time and listen to his thoughts. I’m sure we’d all learn so much, and maybe just maybe, I might find the “Don’t Draw On Mommies Furniture” button.

For Sale…

I’ve got a thing for cars, especially old ones. I found this one on the side of the road in a make-shift used car lot. It’s a fixer upper for sure! Don’t mind the bullet holes…
