I am an American Airman…

I am an American Airman.
I am a warrior.
I have answered my nation’s call.

I am an American Airman.
My mission is to fly, fight, and win.
I am faithful to a proud heritage,
A tradition of honor,
And a legacy of valor.

I am an American Airman,
Guardian of freedom and justice,
My nation’s sword and shield,
Its sentry and avenger.
I defend my country with my life.

I am an American Airman;
Wingman, leader, warrior.
I will never leave an airman behind,
I will never falter,

And I will not fail.

My cousin Ben is in the Airforce, and our family couldn’t be more proud of him…

Christmas Card Pictures=FAIL!!

Thought it would be a good idea to get the Christmas card pictures out of the way today–HA!  I don’t know who is more exhausted, me or the kids.  At least I grabbed this picture before both kids metaphorically gave me the finger.

Cole1No, this one isn’t going to be on the Christmas card, but I’m definitely getting it printed….

Allie…Round 2

Allie wanted some pictures taken with her Grandpa’s truck so I tortured her again….  She’s such a trooper…

Camryn: Day 270 + 1

She started crawling about 4 weeks ago, and cut both of her bottom teeth the same day.

She pulled up to stand last week, and is already trying to cruise around the furniture.

I think she’s is trying to streamline and condense this whole developmental process.

She’s already more daring than Cole ever was.  I can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve had to tell people on the phone “hold on, she’s going for the stairs again!”

She knows the word “No” but chooses to ignore me.

She’ll eat anything and everything I put in front of her, although I think she prefers paper over anything else.

3 months to go…3 months…I will quietly weep in the corner.

Halloween v2.0

Gone are the days when I was able to pick out Cole’s costume.  He picked his out this year, and although I didn’t love it, he still looked adorable.  Camryn on the other hand will be subjected to ridiculously obnoxious adorable costumes until she can string a sentence together.

Cole was a Optimus Prime, or the “Transformer Truck”  as Cole likes to call him.  Camryn was a butterfly, dressed up as an angry 8 month old (this was the only picture she isn’t giving me the stink eye in).

Yes, I did…

I knowingly dressed Camryn up like this during the day on Saturday, and I took her out in public…..
